The United States government plans to allocate USD 12 billion in emergency aid to farmers caught in an escalating trade war with China and the European Union. This is reported by The Washington Post.

The tariffs imposed by China and other countries in response to the US trade policy can cost the American farmers billions of dollars.

In connection with this situation, the United States authorities are trying to find a solution to this crisis, in particular, they plan to provide financial aid to farmers through the Ministry of Agriculture.

As The Journalist reported earlier, China releases list of 106 US products to face additional tariffs.
