French prosecutors opened a preliminary investigation against the chemical giant – “daughter” of the German concern Bayer Company Monsanto. This is reported by the German international television and radio DW.
It is noted that the company is suspected of drawing up a list of people who criticized Monsanto products in order to influence them. It is alleged that the list includes about 200 people, including journalists and parliamentarians.
German concern has already hired a law firm to assess the allegations against its subsidiary, according to a press release from Bayer.
Monsanto is one of the leaders in the global market for sales of genetically modified seeds and herbicides.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that in Ireland opened an investigation against Connor McGregor because of the rape charges.
