Armed militants on motorcycles attacked two villages in the central part of the country and shot local residents. As a result of the attack 41 people were killed. This is reported by Reuters.
“About a hundred unidentified armed men on motorcycles suddenly attacked Yoro and opened fire on the locals. Later they went to the village of Gangafani 15 kilometers from Yoro“, said in a statement.
In the village of Yoro, the gunmen shot 24 persons, and 17 persons in Gangafani.
It is noted that such armed attacks by militants have become more frequent against the inter-ethnic conflicts.
