Arsen Avakov told a panel show on 1+1 TV channel that the Ministry of Internal Affairs guarantees security during the debates at the NSC Olimpiyskiy, as well as during the second round of presidential elections in Ukraine.
“After a decision that the debate will be held at the Olympic to be made, we will certainly ensure public order there. We passed both the Champions League final, and the national team matches, and there were desperate confrontations,” said Arsen Avakov.
The minister also called for presidential candidates do not “escalate the situation” by stating “who is against me, he is an agent of the Kremlin,” “who is against me, then an adherent of the old.”
