SBU Acting Chairman Ivan Bakanov has held a meeting with representatives of Ukraine’s business associations and the Business Ombudsman’s Council to discuss urgent economic issues and their possible solutions aimed at preventing unlawful interference of the security service officials in private business activities. This is reported by the SBU press service.
The Business ombudsman Shemeta, President of the American Chamber of Commerce Andrii Gunder, Executive Director of the European Business Association Anna Derevianko and President of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs Viacheslav Klimov took part in the meeting with Bakanov.
“During the meeting were discussed with regard to existing threats to legal business in certain sectors of the state economy, countering smuggling and the shadow economy, along with the development of public-private partnership in the field of cybersecurity,” the report said.
Ivan Bakanov assured that the SBU is ready for further cooperation with representatives of domestic and foreign business with a view of improving the investment climate in Ukraine.
As The Journalist reported, Zelensky requires SBU to report on first results of work within two weeks.
