BBC paid GBR 50,000 compensation to Poroshenko

As The Journalist reported, BBC apologizes for spreading false information, which stated that Poroshenko allegedly paid money to extend the meeting with Donald Trump.

In turn, the president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, said that the first GBR 50,000 compensation from the broadcasting corporation were transferred to his account. The head of state said this during the ‘Pulse’ political show on 112 Ukraine channel.

According to Poroshenko, for the first time in the BBC’s history, the incumbent head of state won a case in court and defended the honor of Ukraine as well as his own. Also, the President of Ukraine said that “every penny of these funds will be transferred to charity.”
