In case Ukraine failed to improve the situation with the implementation of the revenue part of the state budget for 2018, and in case she lose the support of the International Monetary Fund, the Ukrainian state will be forced to reduce the expenditure side of the state budget.

This was stated by the Economist for Ukraine at the World Bank Anastasia Golovach, UNIAN reported.

According to Mrs Golovach, Ukraine may need up to USD 3.7 billion to pay for the state budget deficit and debt service by the end of the year.

«By the end of the year, Ukraine will need to finance the budget deficit in case she had available resources for this; also she need to finance the repayment of domestic debt. This is approximately USD 3.7 billion, including deficit and debt repayment. In the situation when foreign markets are closed for Ukraine, she will attract these resources from the domestic market or reduce the expenditure side of the budget,» – the economist summed up.

As The Journalist reported, The World Bank is ready to provide Ukraine with USD 650 million if she reached agreements with IMF.
