Residents of almost 400 settlements across Ukraine experienced blackout after worsening weather conditions. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine.
As a result of worsening weather conditions (squally wind, sticking of wet snow), some 380 settlements in 11 oblasts were de-energized, namely: Odesa (17 settlements), Dnipropetrovsk – 10 settlements, Kirovohrad –7 settlements, Poltava – 42 settlements, Ivano-Frankivsk – 93 settlements, Lviv – 75 settlements, Chernihiv – 47 settlements, Sumy – 40 settlements, Cherkasy – 20 settlements, Kyiv – 24 settlements and Zakarpattia – 5 settlements.
As a result of wind gusts, the roofs of more than 100 buildings were damaged, namely: in the Lviv Oblast (35 objects of the social sphere, 25 private residential buildings, 26 communal houses, 3 auxiliary buildings) and in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (12 roofs of the objects of the social sphere).
