Boeing tested the updated 737 MAX 8 software after the crash of Ethiopian Flight 302 last month. According to the results, the experts announced the success of the activities, Reuters reported.

Changes were made to the system that improve the characteristics of maneuverability – MCAS (Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System). During the tests, the Boeing Chief Executive Officer Dennis Muilenburg was on board.

The updated software will be presented soon to experts from the United States Federal Aviation Administration.

“The software update worked as designed, and the pilots landed safely. Boeing will conduct additional test and demo flights as we continue to work to demonstrate that we have identified and appropriately addressed all certification requirements,” the report says.

As The Journalist reported, US and Ethiopian experts have disagreements regarding the investigation into the crash of Boeing.
