Today, February 26, the next round of negotiations on the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union will take place. The discussion will be attended by the British Minister for Brexit Steven Barkley and the EU’s main negotiator Michelle Barnier, reports Radio Liberty.
The main topic of the talks will be the fate of the agreement, which is to enter into force on March 29. But the document is still not approved by members of the British House of Commons. Laborists and some conservatives are not satisfied with the question of the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland. They fear that the British region may actually remain in the customs union and the single market of the European Union and London will thus forever be tied to the EU.
As a result, Brexit can occur without any arrangement.
British Prime Minister Theresa May promises that the second vote on the contract will take place before March 12.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that Brexit can be postponed until 2021.
