British American Tobacco moves head office from Ukraine

British American Tobacco relocates its Eastern Europe headquarters to Romania from Ukraine. The relevant decision was made due to “unpredictable fiscal and regulatory policy of the Ukrainian government”, NV Business reported.

UK company British American Tobacco reformats its business management structure in Eastern Europe. Earlier, Ukraine was the center of the region, which included 12 countries. Now the Ukrainian office will be included in another region with a decision-make center in Romania.

As The Journalist reported, Ukraine reduced import of cigarettes by 7.5% in 2018.
