In honor of 160th anniversary of English writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Royal Mint of Great Britain issued a new coin with the image of Sherlock Holmes.

According to the BBC, on a 50 pence coin, the profile of the famous detective story is surrounded by the names of his most famous cases, but they are written in a very small font.

“I hope this will inspire the “inner detective story” of those who are intrigued by the coin. Naturally, the only way to solve the “riddle of the text” is to use the tool that the fearless detective always carries with him – a magnifying glass,” said coin designer Stephen Roh.

The coin can be purchased at the Royal Mint website at a price ranging from 10 to 795 pounds sterling.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that a coin in the form of a Ukrainian Easter egg would appear in Canada.
