British Prime Minister Theresa May said she agreed to hold a vote on a new Brexit referendum.
According to the British Prime Minister, her government is ready to make certain concessions to reach agreement on a plan for Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union, one of which is a vote on holding a second referendum.
May stressed that she was against the repeated referendum. In addition, this issue will be included in the decision on the agreement with the EU and it will be possible to approve it only together with the agreement itself, Radio Liberty reports.
Earlier, May announced new proposals for an agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union, which she discussed with the government.
The next voting should take place in early June.
As The Journalist reported, PM May, Stoltenberg discussed threats from Russia and China.
