British popular outlet The Guardian came up with a statement said Forensic Architecture, a London-based research group, has collected new evidence of Russian military involvement in the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

The researchers collected evidence of Russian military intervention during the battle of Ilovaisk (Donetsk Oblast) in August 2014. The new evidence will be appended to a case to be ruled on by the European Court of Human Rights. They should be released today, August 19.

Evidence includes numerous satellite images of Russian armed convoys inside Ukraine and the T-72B3 tank. This model (at the time of the battle) was used only by the Russian Federation Armed Forces.

Forensic Architecture used machine learning to analyze 2,500 hours of videos from the region posted on YouTube during the battle.

In late August 2014, after fierce battles, soldiers-members of anti-terrorist operation forces were surrounded near Ilovaisk. The Russian military shelled a corridor along which Ukrainian servicemen were supposed to retrieve in accordance with the agreement.

The Parliamentary Temporary Investigation Commission reported Ukrainian troops lose thousand soldiers during the Ilovaisk tragedy.

As The Journalist reported, Militants once again shoot down OSCE drone in Donbas.
