Cabinet appointed Verlanov as the head of State Tax Service

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Deputy Minister of Finance Serhii Verlanov head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine (STS). This was reported by the Heads of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) Oleksandr Vlasov.

The relevant decision was made at today’s government meeting. Vlasov noted that there were repeated attempts to block the competition, but it still took place and the recommendations of the competition committee were approved.

Now the registration of a legal entity and the transfer of SFS employees to State Tax Service (at least 30%) should take place, and the Cabinet of Ministers should make an order to start the work of the new structure.

Note that the competition of the head of State Customs Service is still blocked.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that the last stage of the competition for the position of the head of the State Tax Service had started.
