The Cabinet of Ministers dismissed the head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine Volodymyr Usov, according to the Uryadoviy Portal.
“To dismiss Volodymyr Usov from the post of head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine in accordance with part one of Article 871 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”,” the document says.
So, according to this article, the decision to dismiss a civil servant from a position of category “A” on the initiative of the subject of appointment may be made on the proposal of the Prime Minister or the relevant minister, or the head of the central executive body.
Thus, the initiators of Usov dismissal could have been Prime Minister Denys Shmygal or Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Strategic Industries Oleh Urusky, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
In addition, an order was issued on the appointment of the first deputy head Mykhailo Lev as the interim head of the State Space Agency.
