Ukraine’s Cabinet has developed a number of initiatives to attract investment in the energy sector. This was announced by Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk on his Telegram.
Cabinet of Ministers intends to simplify access for investors to the Ukrainian bowels, as well as to eliminate shadow markets and illegal schemes. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk specified that the Investment Atlas for Subsoil Users has already been developed. It contains more than 100 objects of attractive interest for small and medium-sized businesses. This year, the Government will offer almost 30,000 km2 of potential oil and gas sites.
According to the Prime Minister, the subsoil user’s e-office will be launched in the H1 of 2020. The number of rejections to applicants is expected to be reduced.
