Canada appreciates the introduction of the EU sanctions against citizens and organizations of Russia, China and the DPRK for cyberattacks. This was stated by the Canadian Foreign Ministry.
“Canada welcomes the EU’s first listings of individuals and entities under their new sanctions regime for malicious cyber activity. It is an important step toward holding perpetrators of these acts accountable.,” the message reads.
Dealing with cyber threats requires vigilance at home and coordinated action with partners internationally.
