Canada has released a report on the investigation into the January 2020 crash of a Ukrainian airliner in the skies over Tehran. The report describes step by step the reaction of the Canadian government to the information about the crash of a passenger plane near Tehran and raises a number of questions to which the Iranian side must answer.
The 79-page report is “the latest expression of Western frustration over how Tehran is coping with the disaster that claimed 176 lives.”
An independent Canadian report says Iran is not properly investigating the crash of a Ukrainian civilian airliner, and many questions remain unanswered.
