From April 8, citizens have the right to participate in campaign for presidential candidates. This was announced at a briefing by the chairman of the Central Election Commission, Tetyana Slipachuk, Ukrinform reports.
“It is very important that from April 8 citizens have the opportunity to participate in the election campaign of each of the candidates. This is also an important issue, because before that such election campaigning was not within the framework of the current legislation,” said Slipachuk.
Also, the CEC chairman added that this decision allows candidates to start submitting to the CEC the composition of district election commissions.
As The Journalist reported, the CEC calls Poroshenko and Zelensky to prepare for the second round of elections.
