The Central Election Commission of Ukraine (CEC) approved the allocation of a subvention from the state budget for the preparation and conduct of local elections on June 30. This was reported by the CEC:
“The CEC approved the allocation of subventions from the state budget to local budgets for preparing and holding local elections on June 30, 2019: the first election of deputies of village, town, city councils and the corresponding village, town, town heads in 19 oblasts for a total of UAH 19,976,500; by-election of deputies of rural and village councils in 13 oblasts for a total of UAH 4,835,200.”
In addition, a corresponding distribution for the total amount of UAH 65,400 has been approved for the production by the state registry bodies of voter lists and personalized invitations for the preparation and conduct of these local elections.
