The Chairperson of the Central Election Commission, Tetiana Slipachuk, said that the CEC had decided to include Mikheil Saakashvili’s Movement of the New Forces political party in ballot #22, without an additional toss, as reported by the press service of the CEC.
“The commission considered it appropriate to include the positions of Mikheil Saakashvili’s “Movement of the New Forces” political party in the ballot paper #22 in the nationwide multi-member election district for the early parliamentary elections without an additional toss,” noted Tetiana Slipachuk.
The CEC chairman added that this decision allowed the Movement of New Forces party and its MP candidates to fully realize the rights and opportunities to participate in the electoral process.
As The Journalist reported, Court allowed Saakashvili to run for parliament.
