CEC registered 461 candidates for people’s deputies of Ukraine

The Central Election Commission (CEC) registered 461 candidates for people’s deputies to participate in the VR special elections, scheduled for July 21.

According to the CEC, 100 candidates for people’s deputies in single-mandate electoral districts have been registered, including 97 in self-nomination and 3 as nominated by the political parties.

The CEC also canceled the registration of one of the self-nominated candidates on his application.

Thus, as of June 17, 461 candidates are registered in single-mandate electoral districts, namely: 414 running for self-nomination, and 47 as nominated by political parties.

In addition, the CEC registered 164 candidates for people’s deputies, who are included in the electoral list of the “Civic position” political party, in the nationwide multi-member constituency.

As reported by The Journalist, the CEC registered 135 candidates for people’s deputies of Ukraine.
