CEC registered 95 candidates for deputies and formed another polling station in China

The Central Election Commission (CEC) registered 95 candidates for people’s deputies to participate in the special elections on July 21.

Thus, as of June 10, there are 88 registered candidates for people’s deputies running in single-mandate electoral districts through self-nomination, plus 7 candidates from political parties.

In addition, the CEC formed another overseas polling station in the People’s Republic of China.

The decision of the CEC members was unanimously adopted at the meeting.

Thus, a new polling station № 900126 was formed in the building of the General Consulate of Ukraine in the city of Guangzhou.

At the meeting the CEC also changed the addresses of the following polling stations:

№ 900004 in Algeria – from now on Ukrainians will vote at the premises of the Ukrainian Embassy in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in the city of Algeria;

№900035 in Kazakhstan – on the premises of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the city of Nur-Sultan;

№900051 in Macedonia – at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Macedonia in the city of Skopje.

The Commission also changed the boundaries of polling station No. 900041 in China.

As reported by The Journalist, the CEC registered the first international observers at the elections to the Verkhovna Rada.
