Montenegro is planning to build a barbed wire fence with Albania

The authorities of Montenegro are considering building a wire fence on the border with Albania.

This was stated by the head of the border monitoring service, Vojislav Dragovic, speaking at the state-run television, reported the DW.

Dragovic also added that Albanian authorities often refuse to accept migrants returning from Montenegro as part of their bilateral readmission agreement.

Now, migrants from the Middle East and North Africa are trying to get through the new Balkan road from the border with Greece through Albania, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina to Croatia, which is a member of the EU.

As «The Journalist» reported, Milo Đukanović reelected as Montenegro’s President.
