China has introduced world’s first longest electric bus. It has a passenger capacity of 250 people and can reach a maximum speed of 70 kilometers per hour. This was reported by the press service of the China’s carmaker BYD on its Twitter.
The report notes that the electric K12A consists of three sections and is 27 meters long. It can reach a maximum speed of 70 km/h and can run almost 300 kilometers with one charge.
In addition, K12A became the world’s first all-wheel-drive electric bus that “can smoothly switch between 2WD and 4WD,” which makes the engine, according to the manufacturer, “economical and fairly stable when driving regardless of the terrain.”
