The First Deputy Chairman of the Rivne Regional State Administration is suspected of receiving a USD 10,000 bribe. It is reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers have documented the fact of extortion and receiption of illegal benefits by the First Deputy Chairman of the Rivne Regional State Administration. In particular it was documented the fact of receiving by the official the first part of a bribe in the amount of USD 5,000, and later his detention while receiving the second part.
The official has promised to a private entrepreneur to coordinate the project documentation on the development of the land plot for illegal reward.
Investigative actions are being continued.
