The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Kyiv rose by 110 over the past day. This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitalii Klitschko.
“In the past day, another 110 residents of Kyiv tested positive for the coronavirus. One person died. As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 7,800. The total death toll in the city is 130 cases,” Klitschko said.
Nine patients were hospitalized; the rest are in self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.
According to the mayor of the capital, 82 people have recovered over the past day.
In total, 2,830 residents of Kyiv have been recovered.
“The highest number of the new cases in Kyiv was registered in Solomyansky district (45), Obolonsky and Dniprovsky districts (14 each), as well as Darnytsky district (12). Follow the basic rules! Be careful and take care of yourself,” Klitschko stressed.
