Denmark considers to sell minesweepers to Ukraine

According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), the Danish Government is ready selling three minesweepers to Ukraine. This is reported by the Ukrainian militaristic portal.
The relevant information was published in the Institute’s annual book on export arms sales. It is known that the ships value totals EUR 102 million.
Most likely, the report refers to the minesweepers, based on the modernized projects of Standard Flex 300 MCM vessels. Four ships of this type were built: Havkatten (P552), Laxen (P553), Makrelen (P554) and Støren (P555). They were withdrawn from service in the Denmark Royal Navy in 2010-2012.

«A 14 multipurpose small corvettes Standard Flex 300 series were built from 1985 to 1996 for the Denmark Royal Navy,» – the publication notes.
