On May 21, the militants mounted seven attacks on Joint Forces positions in Donbas. As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian soldier died, seven more were injured. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation.
The enemy resorted to 120mm and 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as to grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. Shelling was recorded in the area of Shyrokyne, Pavlopil, Starohnativka, Avdiivka, Bohdanivka, and Triohizbenka.
According to intelligence data, on May 21, Ukrainian defenders wounded at least four occupiers.
