Ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will alocate UAH 19 million for a bail to the head of the Main Directorate of Development and Support of Material Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Marchenko, who appears in the case for the purchase of low-quality body armor.
The press service of the European Solidarity party said that Petro and Maryna Poroshenko joined a charity event announced by public activists in support of General Marchenko.
The court appointed a UAH 20 million bail for Marchenko. In three days, more than 3,000 activists collected more than UAH 1 million, the rest of the required amount was contributed by the Poroshenko family.
