The details of the disappeared Swiss national football team player and “Young Boys” Florijana Ismaili in in the Lake Como have become known, as The Local reports.
A soccer player and her friend rented a motorboat. The girls sailed 700 meters offshore and anchored.
While sunbathing, the athlete became hot. She decided to go swimming. Florijana Ismaili jumped into the lake, and no one had seen her again.
“I thought she wanted to play a trick. I expected her to suddenly appear at the other end of the boat. However, time had passed, and she had never appeared. Of course, I began calling her and then called for rescuers”, the athlete’s companion remembers.
The incident became known on June 30. The Swiss has not been discovered yet.
Ismaili has been a member of “Young Boys” since 2011, being the team captain. Since 2014 she has also being playing for the Swiss team.
