The case on ATO veteran Amina Okueva’s murder will be considered by jury trial.
«Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office completed the pre-trial investigation and sent to the court an indictment against a 58-year-old Russian citizen who committed an attempt to assassinate the commander of the Johar Dudaev Chechen volunteer battalion – Adam Osmayev and his wife Amina Okuyeva on June 1, 2017», – Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office press service reported.
It is noted that the criminal is charged under Part 2 of Article 15, clause 1 of Part 2 of Article 115 (attempted murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
«On June 5, 2018 in the Podolsky District Court of Kyiv was held a preparatory hearing, according to which the indictment was appointed to be examined essentially by jury trial», – Prosecutor’s Office added.
The suspected was prolonged the detention for another two months.
