People’s Deputy from «Narodnyi Front» Maxym Polyakov calls on the auditors of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine to check information on the «private meetings» of NABU Director Artem Sytnik.
The deputy said this during the Hour of questions to the government in parliament.
«In the TV-program transmission story Shemy (the head of the NABU, Artem Sytnik, went to the house where President Petro Poroshenko lives in Kozin – ed.), where at night the head of the Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau Artem Sytnik went to a private house to the head of our state for some secret meetings», Polyakov addressed Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.
«I have an appeal to you: there is an auditor of the NABU elected by the government, who should check what this so-called independent anti-corruption body is doing. So why the head of the NABU receives unknown instructions and it is not known where, which, I think, is very far from the fight against corruption», said the deputy.
In response, Groysman noted that it is difficult for him to comment on this issue.
