The duty officer of the correctional facility, where Oleg Sentsov is being held, accepted Denisova’s statement.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova stated that the duty officer from the Russian colony, where the Ukrainian filmdirector Oleg Sentsov is illegally detained, had accepted her statement.

Ukrainian Ombudsperson posted this on Facebook.

«Since 9 am (June 28 – ed.) I am trying to file an application with the correctional facility No. 8, where Oleg Sentsov is being held. And only at 17:02 the duty officer came out and accepted the statement. For all my questions he answers only one thing – I will report to the leadership», – Denisova wrote.

As «The Journalist» reported, Ukrainian ombudsperson demands to meet with Oleh Sentsov, but the Russian ombudsperson ignoring her.
