Director of the Treasury of “Oschadbank” will go on trial for fraud with debenture stock

The director of the Treasury of the joint-stock company "Oschadbank" will be judged in Kyiv, who has inflicted more than 16.7 million UAH on this financial institution. It was reported by press department of city’s procuracy office
Pre-trial investigation found that in March-April 2012, AT "Oschadbank" bought from the Ministry of Finance bonds of domestic government loan (government bonds) in the amount of 900 thousand for the total of more than 913 million UAH.
However, it turned out that the day before the payment of the coupon tax on government bonds. Director of "Oschadbank", abusing official position, has sold 250 thousand bonds in favor of a private bank "Bank 3/4" and offshore companies Gasterral Trade limited (Cyprus). As a result of these actions, the state joint-stock company lost less than 16.7 million UAH of profit from operations with domestic government bonds.
Pre-trial investigation of the criminal proceedings was completed. The indictment according to Part 2 of Art. 364 (malpractice at the office place) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine in respect of the specified person was sent to the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv for further consideration.
As «The Journalist» earlier reported that owners of the agricultural holding are arrested with the possibility of making a guaranty .
