Distance education center for children from occupied Crimea will be opened in Kherson

Ukraine will open a distance education center for children from Crimea annexed by the aggressor country. This was reported by the Minister for Veterans, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Oksana Kolyada, Crimea.Realities reports.

According to Kolyada, an agreement to open a center has already been signed with the leadership of the Kherson Oblast.

“We already have an agreement to open a distance education center for children from the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Sevastopol, in Kherson. It will be located at the base of one of the lyceums. Our task now is to work out this pilot project successfully in order to scale such distance education centers throughout Ukraine. Moreover, there is the opportunity to come from the occupied territory on vacation or on the weekend, to live in a hostel and pass certain exams or to study,” the message says.

As The Journalist reported, Zelensky intends to motivate youth in occupied territories to retain Ukrainian citizenship.
