Ukraine, Israel to sign free trade agreement by the end of 2018

The First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv said at the government meeting that Ukraine and Israel will sign a free trade agreement by the end of of this year.

«The agreement will be signed before the end of the year. Israel will become the 46th country to open the free trade area for Ukrainian goods,» said Kubiv.

Note that Ukraine and Israel completed talks on the creation of a free trade zone on March 28.

The parties also have approved a plan on further signing of the agreement, which includes legal verification of the text of agreement and its submission to the relevant authorities of both countries.
