The President of the United States Donald Trump sent a congratulation on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. This was reported by the press center of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
«On the behalf of the American nation, I would like to congratulate You and Ukraine’s people with the 27th anniversary of your independence,» – the American leader said.
«Ukrainians have a lot to be proud of: for four years Ukraine was fearlessly resisting Russian aggression and is blessed with a bright civil society, growing economy and Armed Forces, which are strong more than ever,» – the United States President stressed.
«Please, remember that the U.S. will always stand by Ukraine when it protects its sovereignty and territorial integrity,» – Mr Trump summed up.
As The Journalist reported, President of Ukraine is going to visit the US.
