On July 1, the militants violated silence regime five times in Donbas. As a result, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded, according to the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO).
The militants resorted to 120mm and 82mm mortars, banned for deployment on the contact line, as well as to grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
The militants used automatic easel grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack Ukrainian fortified positions near Horikhove. The occupiers intensified shelling after mid-day, using grenade launchers of various systems and machine guns on JF positions near Travneve.
In vicinity of Pisky the militants resorted to 120mm mortars and automatic easel grenade launchers. The enemy fired at the Ukrainian defense positions of Avdiivka from 82mm mortars. In addition, the occupiers also used hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
