On July 12, the militants the ceasefire regime 16 times in Donbas. As a result, six members of the Joint Forces were wounded. According to intelligence data, on July 12, the Ukrainian military eliminated three militants and wounded at least another eight. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters.
The militants used 152mm and 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms, prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group the occupiers opened fire near Novotoshkivske, Krymske and Horikhove. In addition, the militants fired on the positions of the Ukrainian army near Khutir Vilniy and Luhanske.
In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group, the enemy opened fire near Avdiivka, Opytne, Marjinka, Kamianka, Vodiane and Novoselivka Druha.
Units of the Joint Forces conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy.
