In Donetsk region, some 584 houses near the contact line damaged in the result of enemy shelling have been restored since the beginning of 2020. This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
Restoration work in the front-line settlements in Donetsk region, which are carried out at the expense of the regional budget, are still underway.
Rescuers from all over the country were involved to carry out such restoration work.
On August 17, the deputy head of Donetsk Regional State Administration Vadym Filashkin awarded the employees of the State Emergency Service, who performed restoration works in the village of Hranitne and along the contact line.
“Today, 584 houses have already been restored at the expense of the reserve fund of Donetsk Regional State Administration. I have always said that the rescuers of the Donetsk region are one of the best in Ukraine. No one will help people in these terrible times except both of us,” he noted.
