A man who helped children in a flooded cave Tham Luang Nang Non in Thailand died. About this informs BBC.

Samarn Kunan, a 38-year-old Thai naval officer, died on the 13th day of an operation aimed at delivering oxygen to children in a flooded cave. The task of the diver was to deliver oxygen to the children, but he did not have enough oxygen on the way back – he lost consciousness.

Note that Kunan was a member of the elite military naval unit of Thailand, which was part of the rescue team in Chiang Rai.
