DPRK executed four diplomats, another one sent to labour camp after failed U.S. summit

North Korean diplomats were executed after the failure of the second summit with the participation of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump in February 2019, South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo reports.

As it became known, North Korea’s special representative for U.S. affairs, Kim Hyok Chol, and four more high-ranking diplomats were sentenced to death. In addition, the head of the Central Committee of the Labor Party, Kim Yong Chol, was sent to a labour and reeducation camp for political prisoners.

According to reports, diplomats accused of spying for the United States. 

It is noted that the DPRK leader, Kim Jong-un, ordered to execute the diplomats at a military airfield.
