The Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Dmytro Dubilet has said that a new payroll model for heads of ministries, departments, state companies and their deputies will be presented to the public for discussion in February.
“I hope that in February we will publish a top-officials payroll model for discussion, and I hope that we can explain the logic of bonuses, salaries, etc. I hope that the society will be able to accept this,” Dubilet said in an interview on Radio NV.
To the minister, it is necessary to abandon existing system of allowances and bonuses, replacing them with a variable part of the salary.
“I would say that it is necessary to make a fixed salary plus some sort of variable part that is tied to effectiveness. That is, instead of this mess of а thing, you need to have very transparent clear rules on how this variable part to be determined,” Dubilet convinced.
The minister also emphasized that he had already shared with Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk his vision of a new salary model for ministers.
