As it became known to British media Duchess of Sussex used to have a cat named Archie. From this it follows that the Duchess of Sussex named her son after her beloved pet.

“Doria (Duchess of Sussexe’s mother) saved Archie, and he became an important part of the family. Meghan loved to play with him, and she always talked about him with her friends,” The Sun quotes the Duchess’s friend.

According to the publication, the cat Archie died when Meghan was in college in Illinois. Pet, by the way, was once named after the main character of the comic, Archie Andrews, whom Meghan was “just obsessed with” in childhood.

Recall Duchess of Sussex gave birth to a boy in the morning of May 6th. They decided to call him Archie Harrison. On Wednesday, the royal family published a black and white picture, which captures the meeting of Elizabeth II with his great-grandson. Note that the baby did not receive the title from the queen.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave the name to his son.
