EBRD proposes crisis response plan for Ukraine’s tourism industry

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has proposed the first seven steps to overcome the crisis in the tourism industry in Ukraine. The head of the State Agency for Tourism Development, Mariana Oleskiv, said that the developed concept provides for it, RBC-Ukraine reports.

She said that in 2019, the EBRD, together with the EU, developed recommendations for the tourism industry in Ukraine. However, they decided to make adjustments. Among other things, the document contains clear instructions for the hospitality industry, proposals to the President and the Cabinet of Ministers regarding official events, instructions for the tourism sector on information infrastructure, support for transport with subsidies, legal support and collection of data on travel providers.
