Former Head of Yanukovych’s security service asks court for repeated interrogation

The Former Head of the security service of the ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, Konstantin Kobzar, asks the Obolon district Court of Kyiv for extra questioning on the case of Yanukovych treason.

According to Yanukovich’s lawyer, Vitaliy Serdyuk, Kobzar wants to testify that Anatoly Chepiga, also known as Ruslan Boshirov, who is accused of trying to poison Skripals, was involved in the operation on transportation of the former Ukrainian President to Russia.

«The Former Head of the Presidential Security Service of Ukraine, Konstantin Kobzar, asks Obolon District Court to provide him an additional interrogation, regarding information in the media about the participation of Russian citizen Boshirov in guarding and escorting Viktor Yanukovych to the Crimea in February 2014,» – the lawyer wrote.

Note that earlier the media spread the information that Russian Anatoly Chepiga is suspected of poisoning the former Russian spy Serghei Skripal, also known as Ruslan Boshirov, was involved in the operation on transportation Yanukovych to the Crimea and then to the Russian Federation.

As The Journalist reported, Yanukovych was invited to Kyiv to testify in court with the a closing speech.
