A former US intelligence officer, 58-year-old Ron Rockwell Hansen, was arrested for spying for China government. This is reported by BBC.
Hansen, who once worked for the US Defence Intelligence Agency, is accused of trying to transfer national defense information and received US$800,000 to act as a Chinese intelligence agent. It is noted that the man was arrested when he was on his way to a China-bound flight. According to the Department of Justice, Hansen is fluent in Chinese and Russian languages and regularly traveled between US and China in period of 2013 – 2017.
It is noteworthy that for several years Hansen had access to State secrets.
As "The Journalist" reported earlier, the former double agent Skripal was poisoned by a chemist specialist.
