IMF experts arrived to Kyiv for consultations on Ukraine’s 2019 State Budget

The International Monetary Fund has called the adoption of the State Budget as one of the conditions needed to provide Ukraine with financial assistance under the stand-by program. This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine, with reference to the information received from Goesta Ljungman, Permanent Representative of the International Monetary Fund in Ukraine.

«At the request of the Ukraine’s authorities, an IMF team consisting of several experts will visit Kyiv on November 4 – 9 to consult on the draft budget for 2019 in the view of a recent agreement,» the IMF representative said.

As The Journalist reported, Volker said that new Stand-By Arrangement with IMF will strengthen Ukraine’s budget.
